About CurlShot
CurlShot turns any web page into an image, PDF or video with one HTTP request. Send a URL, your own HTML or Markdown and get back a PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF, MP4, WebM or GIF. It handles full pages, phones and tablets, and removes cookie banners and ads before the capture. No SDK needed: the API is a plain URL, so cURL, Node.js, Python, PHP, Go and Ruby all work.
Built for apps and AI agents: a built-in MCP server (take_screenshot, list_devices), an OpenAPI 3.1 file and llms.txt. Async jobs with signed webhooks and bulk runs of up to 100 URLs.
Free plan: 100 screenshots a month, no card. Paid plans from $19 a month. Failed renders and cache hits don't count.
Why CurlShot
01 · The problem
Capturing a full web page as an image or PDF usually requires a browser, a tool to install, or custom code, and pages often come with cookie pop-ups, ads and layouts that vary by device.
02 · The solution
CurlShot renders a web page server-side and returns it as a PNG, JPEG, WebP or PDF, with options for full-page capture, device viewport, and hiding ads and cookie pop-ups. The same features are reachable through a single HTTP request API.
03 · What makes it different
It combines a no-install web capture tool with an API that needs only one HTTP request, and it blocks ads and cookie pop-ups as part of the capture. Local and private addresses are refused, and pages behind a login can be captured by sending cookies or headers.
Who it’s for
Developers who need automated screenshots via an API, and anyone who wants a quick screenshot of a web page without installing software.
