Copyright & reporting infringement

Makers own what they launch on ShipX, and they must have the rights to it. If a listing uses your work without permission, report it here.

What makers can post

When you launch on ShipX you keep ownership of your listing and give us a licence to show it (see the Terms). You must own, or have permission to use, everything in it: your logo, screenshots, images, videos and description. Don’t copy another product’s branding, copy or screenshots.

Report copyright infringement

The most common case is a product launched with someone else’s logo, screenshots, description or images. Fill in the form, or email the same details to suhail@shipx.live. Each field is required by the notice-and-takedown rules described in our DMCA & Copyright Policy.

What happens next

  1. 1Report received. You get a confirmation email with a reference.
  2. 2Review. We check the report is complete and find the content on ShipX.
  3. 3Content disabled. If it’s valid, we hide the listing or comment.
  4. 4Owner notified. The maker gets the details of your complaint.
  5. 5Counter-notice. They can dispute it; if they do, you get a copy.
  6. 6Restored or removed. Upheld complaints are removed for good and count against the maker’s account.

Received a copyright notice?

If your content was hidden after a complaint and you believe it’s a mistake, use the link in the notice we sent you to file a counter-notice, or see how counter-notices work.
