Trailback is a Mac and Windows app that remembers the websites you visit, files you open, screenshots you take and text you copy, so you can find any of it again by describing it. Search works on the words inside pages, PDFs, documents and screenshots, and understands phrases like "last week" or "from Gmail".

Collections group your files by type, by the app or site they came from, or by project, without moving anything in your existing folders. Tidy reads each file and suggests a real name and place, but only changes things when you click, with undo available. Pick a moment puts back the pages, files and apps from any hour of any day in order, and Your week summarises the projects you worked on and can be shared as a picture.

A free browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave and Comet saves pages you read to Trailback on your computer, and private windows are never recorded. The app is 100% offline, data stays on the device, and it is a one-time $19 purchase for Mac and Windows.
