## About

aidirecto is an editor-run AI tools directory. Listings are hand-reviewed. Each listing is re-checked weekly, and the last-check date is visible. Price changes are logged. Listings are editor-approved. Rankings are not for sale. Use it to discover and compare AI tools by category and by pricing. Why built: AI tool directories go stale, so aidirecto re-checks listings weekly by hand.

## The problem

AI tool directories often copy a product's homepage once and never look again, so pricing and dead links go stale and buyers cannot tell which listings were verified.

## The solution

aidirecto reviews each tool by hand before listing it, reads pricing and platform details from the live site, re-crawls every tool at least weekly, and shows the last-checked date on every page.

## What makes it different

The site emphasises verification over paid placement: three checks before a tool is listed, weekly re-checks with changes logged, and a published listing policy that excludes deepfakes and adult content.

## Who it's for

People choosing an AI tool, such as developers and makers comparing coding agents, productivity apps and marketing tools.
